Hillarys: Parkrun events to start at Whitford Nodes Park

Lucy JarvisJoondalup Times

PARKRUN events will start at a Hillarys park this month.

The free, weekly 5km timed runs will start at Whitford Nodes Park on November 18 as part of Medibank’s ‘Free + active’ initiative.

It follows the insurance company’s research that found one in two northern suburbs locals are physically inactive, with 43 per cent not having exercised in the last three months.

The runs will be held every Saturday, starting 8am.
