HILLARYS Police are looking for the owners of property found while executing search warrants recently.

Acting Senior Sergeant Greg Thomas said police searched a house in Sorrento and storage unit in Joondalup over the September 24-25 weekend.

“Police executed two search warrants and hundreds of items were recovered – many tools, sporting, fishing gear, camping gear,” he said.

“A lot of the gear, especially the tools, were stolen from vehicles – many off the back of tradies’ utes and many from out of an unlocked car.”
