Entry for the day is free but some activities will cost a gold coin donation.

Centre co-ordinator Carolyn Halleen said the day would showcase its groups, which includes three two- to three-year-old programs and two three- to four-year-old programs, and honour the staff who set up the centre 30 years ago.

“Our staff have had children attend the pre-kindy programs and people who once attended are now bringing their own children,” she said.

“We feel very happy and privileged to be part of a community centre that has been around for 30 years.”

She said the whole community was invited, including past and present members and there would be a visit from life member and former staff member Robyn Lang who retired in 2015.
