Joondalup CBD to get more CCTV

CCTV and lighting in the Joondalup CBD will be upgraded as part of the Safer Streets Program.

Moore MHR Ian Goodenough announced on Monday the City of Joondalup will receive $327,700 for five CCTV cameras and upgraded lighting at five locations in the city centre.

Justice Minister Michael Keenan said the funding was drawn from the proceeds of crime account, where money is taken from criminals and reinvested into further crime prevention.
