Joondalup Community Arts Association transform Joondalup Art Gallery for Xmas

Lucy JarvisJoondalup Times

MEMBERS of the Joondalup Community Arts Association have been transforming the Joondalup Art Gallery into a display of art and craft works for the lead up to Christmas.

About 28 artists have set up more than 200 hand crafted, original artworks in the Central Walk gallery, including water colour, acrylic, original prints and mixed media paintings, cards, hand-made decorations and jewellery.

The pieces range from traditional to abstract styles, in a wide array of colours, textures and formats, with artists selling as well as exhibiting their work.

The JCAA Christmas Art Market will run until Friday, December 15. The gallery is open from 10am to 2pm Tuesdays to Fridays and 5pm to 9pm on Fridays during the Twilight Markets.
