Joondalup ECU researchers looking for people with anxiety for emotion-focused group therapy

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

ECU researchers are looking for people with anxiety or depression symptoms to take part in a project examining emotion-focused group therapy.

The therapy is based on research findings that have shown it is possible to transform critical voices and painful emotions by accessing alternate empowering emotions.

The free 10-week program will be run by ECU Masters of Clinical Psychology lecturer Jason Sharbanee, who has facilitated trainings in this style of therapy internationally.
