FATHERS can get pampered and pamper their daughters at a fundraiser in Joondalup next month.

Moptops Haircare 4 Kids will host the October 7 workshop for the ‘To be a polished man’ initiative.

Chris Gaskell said the fundraiser would see daughters painting their fathers’ finger nails, including Banksia Grove’s Abbey Bunton (4) and her father Ian.

“The dads have to wear the polish for the month of October,” she said.

“The workshop will include teaching dads to style their daughters hair.”

Banksia Grove resident Ian Bunton has three girls, aged seven, four and one, and they have previously taken part in Moptops hair workshops where fathers learn how to style their daughters’ hair.

“It’s great for me with the girls; the enjoyment of a bit of father-daughter time,” he said.

“They love it doing the hair and when they found out it was the chance of doing dad’s nails, they were all in.”

The event will run from 10am to noon at Divine Hair and Beauty Supplies Training Centre in Joondalup.
