A 29-year-old man is in an induced coma after an alleged assault in Joondalup overnight.
Police were called to a property on Lakeside Drive at 10.40pm after reports a man had been assaulted in the courtyard of a home.
A 29-year-old man was found with serious head injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance.

The man, a 28-year-old from Eglinton, has been charged with act or omission causing bodily harm.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The woman is helping police with their inquiries.
