Joondalup park attack: composite image released of man who hit woman

A MAN struck a woman in the face while she was jogging in a Joondalup park yesterday.

The victim was running on a bushtrack from Neil Hawkins Park to Joondalup Drive about 11am when the offender approached her.

He attacked her after a brief conversation.

The man was thought to be aged between 35 and 40 and about 180cm tall.

He had dark skin, a chubby build, a round face and wide flattened nose.

He was unshaven with messy collar-length black hair, a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
