Joondalup schools on display at Arts Night

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

JOONDALUP Primary School and Education Support Centre recently celebrated arts in education.

Every year, the schools host the Arts Night to recognise the role it plays in student development and academic achievement.

The school was open to families and the community with a visual arts exhibition, drumming performance, Indonesian dance and activities including robotic music, mural painting, a DJ session and exploration of the new science lab.

The event culminated in the Joondalup Rock Concert with students from pre-primary to Year 6 performing a rock-themed item from the 1950s through to the 2000s, which they had been rehearsing since Term 3.
