THE Joondalup-based Soroptimist International club was recently inspired to create toiletry bags for women in need.

Club members put together 64 bags, which Susan Cromb said would be to be distributed by the Yellow Ribbon Project to newly released female offenders.

“These women are often under financial pressure and not able to afford personal hygiene items,” she said.

She said the club was inspired after founder Jade Lewis visited the club last year.
