INTERNATIONAL touring group The TEN Tenors has been announced as the entertainment for the City of Joondalup’s next Valentine’s Concert.

The event for the City’s residents and ratepayers will be at Joondalup Resort from 7pm on Thursday, February 11, with more than 8000 people expected to attend to see the group perform its new show The Power of TEN.

From classical arias to rock anthems, the world-renowned 10-piece will take on a range of artists from Puccini and Verdi to Michael Jackson, David Bowie, The Everly Brothers, U2, Bruno Mars and their signature version of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

“With more than 2000 headline concerts worldwide, The TEN Tenors have electrified audiences and shown ‘the vocal wonders from Down Under’ can sing anything,” Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said.

“I have no doubt everyone in attendance will be amazed by the almighty force of 10 extraordinary voices, united by music, in an evening that will take their breath away.”

The smoke-free concert is a free but ticketed event.

Tickets are available to City of Joondalup residents and ratepayers aged 18 and over and can be collected from 8am to noon on Saturday, January 16, from the City’s customer service centres in Joondalup, Hillarys and Craigie.

Proof of age and address or ratepayer status will be required to collect tickets.

A limit of four tickets per household applies and all guests aged six and over require a ticket.

Because of the limited capacity of the Joondalup Resort venue and the popularity of past concerts, the City of Joondalup considers limiting the tickets to its residents and ratepayers the fairest way to ensure the event is enjoyed by the local community.

Guests are invited to bring a picnic and food; drinks and licensed bar will also be available. For more, go to www.joondalup.wa.gov.au or call 9400 4705.
