Joondalup: workshops give seniors active options

SENIORS are invited to a showcase of workshops and activities in Joondalup on May 21.

Try your hand at origami, learn more about the birds in your garden, take part in modern urban art activities or get your eye in with some target practice.

There will also be an information session from Natalie Barker about the importance |of happiness to your own wellbeing and |community service expos.

The showcase will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Joondalup Reception Centre and Joondalup Library.

There will also be free shuttle buses from Neil Hawkins Park, which has free parking.

Entry is $10.
