THE future of Joondalup’s major Kaleidoscope Festival is up in the air with the City yet to commit to the illumination event.

The City’s three-year contract with Mellen Events to deliver the festival ended after last year’s event and no decision has been made yet it if will take place in 2019 and beyond.

“The City is currently undertaking its budget process for 2019-20 and the staging of a significant event such as Kaleidoscope will be among items considered as part of this process,” Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob told Community News.
