POLICE are calling for witnesses to a March 24 crash on Karrinyup Road, which caused extensive damage to both vehicles involved.
About 11pm on Thursday, March 24, police saw a silver Volvo sedan speeding on Beach Road in Girrawheen.
Police activated their lights and sirens to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle accelerated away and continued to travel through several northern suburbs.
The car sped down the wrong side of Karrinyup Road and continued to evade police, who lost sight of the vehicle.
The vehicle then collided head-on with a silver Subaru Outback on Karrinyup Road near Coleman Way.
Two men ran from the Volvo sedan, with one later arrested by police nearby.
St John Ambulance officers took the man to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
The single occupant of the Subaru suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
A police spokesman said the investigation was ongoing.
“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the silver Volvo sedan before to the crash or witnessed the crash,” he said.
