CHILDREN’S author Jacqueline Harvey will bring her spy adventure series to Joondalup this week.

In her only WA event, Harvey will be at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City to celebrate the release of Kensy and Max: Breaking News.

The book follows twins Kensy and Max Grey whose lives are turned upside down when they are whisked off to London and discover their parents are missing.

As the situation unfolds, so many things don’t add up: their strange new school, the bizarre grannies on their street, the coded messages they keep finding and the feeling that the adults are keeping secrets.

Harvey will be in the Myer Centre Court from noon to 2pm on April 7.

As well as an author talk and time for book signings, there will be crafts, spy activities and a disguise photo wall.

The event is free but bookings are required at bit.ly/2DLOsbI.

The book will be available to buy on the day or you can ore-order by calling Dymocks Joondalup on 9300 0895.
