EXTRA colour has been added to the garden at Creaney Education Support Centre.

The Kingsley school community gathered on Friday to dedicate a mural to the memory of its long-term gardener Murray Ellison, who died earlier in the year.

Principal Cat Marcoolyn said Mr Ellison was a much-appreciated kind and caring supporter of the students.

The school commissioned the mural by south-west artist Rebecca Cool, with help from a Bankwest grant and materials donated by Bunnings Whitfords.

The ceremony was attended by Mr Ellison’s family, Kingless MLA Jessica Stojkovski, and school parents, staff and students.
