THE refurbished administration building at Halidon Primary School was officially opened today.
Upgrades included extra office space and a large, open reception area with a foyer that can accommodate parents with prams.
The works followed significant growth at the Kingsley school since it became an independent public school last year, with the State Government contributing $150,000 to the project.
Education Minister Sue Ellery said the upgrade was part of the government’s commitment to “ensuring older WA public schools offer the best possible environments for their students, school staff and the school community”.
Kingsley MLA Jessica Stojkovski said the school was built in 1986 and was in need of a “modern hub” for staff, students and parents to access.
