Synergy chief executive Jason Waters said charging stations highlighted Synergy’s commitment to an electric vehicle framework for WA.

“The roll out of these charging stations is another demonstration of Synergy’s commitment to collaborating with innovative partners and the transition towards electric vehicles in WA.” he said.

“I believe the transition to electric vehicles represents a great opportunity for the state, and will offer a number of benefits to the WA economy, the environment and the consumer; from a reduction in fuel and running costs, to lower greenhouse gas emissions.”

Lakeside centre Manager Gemma Hannigan said the stations were about meeting the needs of its customers now and into the future.
