THE Salvation Army will be on show at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City this week.

To launch a new partnership between the two, The Salvo Expo will be held in The Great Space until June 4.

The community will be able to get more information on the services the Salvation Army provides, including emergency services, wills and bequests and family tracing.

There will also be a pop-up Salvo Store, an art exhibition competition with students from Ocean Reef Senior High School and St Stephen’s School in Carramar, and the Balga Early Learning Centre will be running children’s activities, including the Cuddly Animal Farm on Sunday.

“It is an exciting opportunity to do more than just ask for financial support but to show how we provide valuable support to the community at their time of need,” The Salvation Army spokesman Warren Palmer said.

“Whilst there are over 65 services provided by The Salvation Army in WA, this exhibition will enable us to show some of the services that are supported through The Red Shield Appeal.”
