Twenty adults across a range of professions attended the event at Prendiville Catholic College on June 23 to speak to groups of Year 11 students.

Careers and VET co-ordinator Jason Todd said the event gave all 180 students an opportunity to get information from people already working in jobs they might be interested in, such as medicine, multimedia, graphic design, law, electrical, education, performing arts, environmental science, physiotherapy and chiropractics.

After the students and guests had talked over breakfast, Australian Defence Force representatives Lieutenant Shaun Moore and Petty Officer Andrew Leeson also spoke about their roles in the navy.
