AN upgrade at Sir James McCusker Park is lighting up Iluka.

The City of Joondalup recently upgraded 45 of the park’s light poles and installed energy efficient LED luminaires and installed another nine luminaires and poles along the new pathways on the eastern and western sides of the park.

A City statement said warm white lighting was chosen to provide a “relaxed ambiance” and the luminaires, which are highly resistant to vandalism, provide “higher levels of illumination”, with all lights connected to the City’s wireless lighting control system.
