Staff writerJoondalup Times

LIGHTNING struck at Percy Doyle Reserve in Duncraig last night while children played tee-ball nearby.

A parent called 6PR this morning to report that the lightning struck water piping after 6pm, causing water to flow from the top oval.

The caller also said he was surprised that more parents didn’t take their children from the park when the stormy weather moved in.
