Man allegedly attacks taxi driver in Beldon in Perth’s north

The 26-year-old driver went to a property about 12.30am on April 6, where the 24-year-old Ellenbrook man confronted him.

The latter is accused of threatening the cabbie with a knife before stealing cash.

Police said the cabbie, who received minor injuries, disarmed the man before the latter fled the scene.

Officers found him a short time later and charged him with armed robbery.
