Man charged over alleged obscene acts in Beldon

A 47-year-old Joondalup man has been charged after allegedly carrying out a series of obscene acts in front of teenage girls yesterday morning.

Police allege that about 8.15am, the man drove to a shopping centre in Beldon and carried out an obscene act in view of a lone 16 year old girl while in his car.

He then allegedly drove to where a group of teenagers aged around 13 and 14 years were standing and again committed an obscene act.

A short time later he approached a lone 14-year-old girl and carried out a further obscene act.

He has been charged with two counts of indecent dealings with a child over 13 and under 16, and committing an obscene act in public.

He will appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court today.
