MORE than 100 stolen items have been recovered after police executed a search warrant in Mullaloo.
Thanks to information from the public, Hillarys Police and Joondalup detectives conducted the search that led to 14 burglary, stealing and property laundering charges being laid.
It is believed the alleged offender had been targeting sheds in the Mullaloo area.
He is now subject to a night time curfew and strict reporting conditions designed to prevent him re-offending.
Hillarys Police acting detective sergeant Jim Armstrong said the “significant result” was “only possible with the support and information from the community”.
He also encouraged anyone who had experienced a similar offence to report it to police.
“If you have already reported a theft please ensure you have updated us with the list of property stolen so police can return the seized items to their rightful owners,” he said.
“WA Police remind all residents to secure their property and premises and to continue to report suspicious behaviour to police.”
