Police allege the pair, aged 19 and 17, indicated to service station staff they were armed when they entered the store about 12.10am on November 4.
They were refused money but allegedly grabbed items from the store before fleeing. During their apprehension, it is alleged the older male assaulted the officer.
He was charged with aggravated armed robbery, stealing, assaulting a public officer and obstructing a public officer.
