Man injured in Perth home shooting

A MAN was shot in the chest after an incident in Beldon just before 8am this morning.

Police said they arrived to a Lockeville home to find a 50-year-old man with a chest wound consistent with being caused by a gun.

The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment to a non-life-threatening injury.

Police believe the incident occurred inside the home and involved a male person known to the victim.
