MARMION girl Caitlin Kock (above) is on a three-week tour of Europe with the Australian Girls Choir this month.
Caitlin (14) joined 55 choristers aged 11 to 17 on the tour, which includes visits to London, Paris, Venice and Rome.The girls rehearsed in their home cities throughout the year and joined together as a touring choir three days before their September 16 departure, where the full performance program is put together during intensive music and dance rehearsals.
Between performances across Europe the girls will also take in the local attractions, and participate in workshops with school and choral groups in each destination.
The trip is the choir’s 20th international tour in their 32-year history, with highlight events including performing for the Papal Audience at the Vatican in Rome, and for the Australian Embassy in Paris.
