Men charged over alleged service station robberies

TWO men have been charged over a series of alleged armed robberies at service stations in Beldon, Malaga and The Lakes overnight on May 26 and 27.

A 29-year-old man from Ellenbrook and a 28-year-old man from Aveley have each been charged with two counts of aggravated armed robbery and one count of attempted aggravated armed robbery.

They have also been charged with two counts of unlawfully, and with intent to injure or annoy a person, causing a poison or other noxious thing to be administered to or taken by a person in circumstances of aggravation.

They appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court yesterday and were remanded in custody to reappear on July 18.
