Men wanted over armed robberies

POLICE have released images of two men wanted for questioning over armed robberies in Craigie and Ballajura on Saturday.

The first incident occurred at a bakery along Eddystone Avenue in Craigie about 5.10am

Two men entered the shop armed with a hammer and a knife.

They threatened a staff member that confronted them before leaving with cash.

The second incident was at a service station at the corner of Alexander Drive and Illawarra Crescent, Ballajura, about 5.30am.

The men entered the service station, approached the front counter and stole a sum of cash.

One of the men also spotted a staff member’s handbag and took that before leaving.

Police believe the incidents are linked and have released images of two men they would like to speak to.

The first is described as dark skinned, wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing along the sleeve, black jeans, a brown belt and a cap.

The second is described as light skinned and was wearing a black jumper, white shirt, black pants and possibly a black beanie.
