Mini-market launched at Whitford City

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

Westfield Whitford City shopping centre held the first event in its revamped Fresh Food Market last month, with the second Australian-themed market to be held from 9am to 5pm this Saturday.

The market aims to showcase local produce and encourage shoppers to sample and buy from the stalls operated by retailers at the centre. This month there will be a brownie bar at the Ox and Rabbit pop-up shop while Kate Gnanapragasam, owner of Blonde Baking Mama, will be making cakes with Australian native flowers.

The market will continue to run on the last Saturday of every month until Christmas. Next month’s theme will be Christmas in July.
