A CRASH involving a horse float is causing delays on the Mitchell Freeway this morning.
The crash occurred on Mitchell Freeway southbound near Whitfords Avenue, Woodvale.
The left lane is blocked and motorists are advised to be cautious when approaching the area.

UPDATE, 11.20am: WA Police confirmed two vehicles were involved in the crash, which was reported about 9.40am.
It was cleared within an hour and the horses were taken away in a separate vehicle.
St John Ambulance attended and one person was taken to Joondalup Health Campus as a precaution.
