The Move-Kids Program is at ECU Joondalup from February 19.

ENROLMENTS are open for a program that aims to improve children’s movement skills and self-confidence.

The Move-Kids Program, at ECU’s Joondalup campus, is for kids aged 4 to 12 who have difficulty taking part in movement, physical activity, exercise and sport or would like to improve their movement and sports skills.

Children will have an initial assessment of their fundamental movement skills and then are provided with a tailored movement program to match their needs.

This will include appropriate targeted activities, expert instruction and feedback in a fun and non-threatening environment.

The program is designed and supervised by senior staff from the university’s School of Medical and Health Sciences, while Exercise and Sports Science graduates and students will help deliver it.

Term 1 runs from February 19 to April 9 on Tuesdays from 4pm to 5pm.

Cost is $160.
