Mullaloo Beach PS students brighten their beach with mural

Mentored by Perth artist Esti Nagy, a group of Year 5 and 6 students has helped design the new sea creature mural at the changerooms of the Mullaloo Beach clubrooms.

The project was part of the City of Joondalup’s School Connections program and depicts children interacting with sea creatures, including turtles, dolphins, an octopus and whales.

Mayor Troy Pickard said the students should be “incredibly proud”.

“Being involved in the project will become a fond memory for these students who are also symbolically featured in the mural itself – shown to be painting the artwork,” he said.
