“Members have an opportunity to engage with the council and become actively involved in important local government issues that have a direct impact on them, their family and friends and community,” Mayor Albert Jacob said.

“I encourage anyone interested in influencing the future direction of our City to consider nominating for a position.”

In 2019, group members explored the role of the City in promoting and facilitating community safety, examined the role arts and culture play in local communities and ways the City could support growth.

Visit www.joondalup.wa.gov.au, call 9400 4219 or collect a nomination form from the City’s customer service centres.

Nominations close January 20.
