Northbridge violence: WA Police allege Padbury woman smashed bottle on victim

POLICE have charged a Padbury woman who allegedly smashed a bottle over a young woman’s head in Northbridge on last night.

Police Media spokesman Andrew Maher said the victim (24) was with her friends when she got into an argument with the accused (35) about 9.55pm in the Piazza.

“It is alleged the woman swung a bottle at the victim hitting her in the forehead causing the bottle to smash,” Sgt Maher said.

“Friends of the victim held the woman until police arrived.”

Officers charged the alleged offender with wounding.
