Over-55s apartments proposed for Duncraig

TEN apartments for over-55s have been proposed for land in Duncraig.

The City of Joondalup is assessing the planning application for 57 Marri Road, which is between a vet clinic and public carpark next to Marri Reserve.

The proposal is for a three-storey development, with three two-bedroom apartments on the ground floor, five on the first floor and two on the second floor.

The applicant is asking the City to exercise discretion with plot ratio, building height, setbacks, open space, fencing, fill and a retaining wall.

The plans are out for public comment until April 29. Submissions can be made via info@joondalup.wa.gov.au or posted to PO Box 21, Joondalup WA 6919.
