POLICE were left perplexed at the decisions made by an alleged drunk P-plate driver and the passengers in his car last month.

Sergeant Chris Wride accused the alleged offender of driving “all over the road” when police stopped the car he was driving in Kinross on May 22.

Sgt Wride said the car was unlicensed and the driver did not have P-plates displayed.

He said the accused’s decision to drive was even more bewildering for police when they questioned the passengers in the car.

“He had three friends in the car, who had not been drinking and all had licensed vehicles,” Sgt Wride said.

The P-plater was charged with driving with an excess 0.08 blood alcohol content.
