As part of making changes to the school canteen to bring it in line with the Education Department’s healthy food and drink policies, the building has also had a makeover.
“We were very lucky to have a talented parent come on board and donate their artistic skill to our goal of creating a bright, fun, inviting mural for our canteen,” volunteer canteen manager Jaye-anne Muir said.
She said the mural aimed to reinforce the school’s “green message” by incorporating cartoon fruits and vegetables.
A student competition was also held to name the new-look canteen.
