YOUNG adult readers are invited to the Penguin Teen Showcase, which heads to Perth for the first time next week.

Hosted by publisher Penguin Random House and Dymocks Joondalup, the event will highlight some of its most exciting reads from local and international authors and feature in-conversation sessions with local authors and on-the-spot young adult genre quizzes.

There will also be books available to buy including new releases such as Fluer Ferris’s latest book Found.

Held at the West Perth Falcons’ function centre at HBF Arena on June 27, doors will open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

The event will run for about an hour followed by book signings and meet and greet with authors Ferris, Emily Gale and Dianne Wolfer.

Though the event is free, tickets are essential from bit.ly/2yws0pE or by contacting Dymocks Joondalup on 9300 0895 or joondalup@dymocks.com.au.
