Perth detectives hunt knife bandit over armed robberies

POLICE are hunting a knife-wielding bandit in relation to three northern suburb robberies.

In the most recent hold-up he held a knife to a worker at a Farmer Jacks store in Woodlands on Friday at 8.02pm.

Police are hunting a knife bandit who robbed Glengarry IGA in Duncraig on two occasions and Farmer Jacks in Woodlands.

He is also wanted for two robberies in Duncraig, at Glengarry IGA on January 21 (at 7.45pm) and 28 (7.50pm), the first of which he produced a knife and stole cash.

Regional Investigations Unit officers say he is described as fair-skinned, about 175cm-180cm tall and aged in his 20s.

“We are seeking to identify a witness to the Woodlands robbery who recorded the incident on their mobile phone and any other person who was in or around these locations at the time of the offences, who is yet to speak to police,” a police spokesman said.
