Perth: Men accused of smuggling meth from Canada in oven

AN oven en route from Canada was allegedly used to smuggle $19 million in methamphetamine into Perth in early January.

Three men were accused of smuggling 21kg of ice into the country.

The Australian Federal Police, helped by Australian Border Force seized the drug during a series of searches around Perth on January 15.

The three men, from the suburbs of Koondoola, Girrawheen and Shelley, were charged with commercial drug importation offences.

Two men will face court later on Wednesday, while a third has been summonsed to appear on February 15, with all three facing commercial drug importation charges.
