Photographers can capture a prize

The competition is held annually in recognition of World Environment Day (June 5) and is open to all 12 to 18-year-olds who live or attend a high school in the City.

This year’s theme is ‘Capture Nature: Explore your local beach, bushland and wetlands’.

All images must be taken in the City of Joondalup and must include a caption describing what the image means to the photographer.

Entries will be judged on their creativity, composition and message.

First prize is $300, with $200 for second and $150 each for third and fourth.

Photographs must be submitted electronically via the online form on the City’s website by 4pm on Monday, May 2.
