Photographers can capture a prize

The competition is held annually in recognition of World Environment Day (June 5) and is open to all 12 to 18-year-olds who live or attend a high school in the City.

This year’s theme is ‘Capture Nature: Explore your local beach, bushland and wetlands’.

All images must be taken in the City of Joondalup and must include a caption describing what the image means to the photographer.

Entries will be judged on their creativity, composition and message.

First prize is $300, with $200 for second and $150 each for third and fourth.

Photographs must be submitted electronically via the online form on the City’s website by 4pm on Monday, May 2.

Anyone unable to submit their entry electronically before the deadline should call 9400 4232.
