Pilates fundraiser at Joondalup arena to aid Soldier On

Pilates with Hart director Kate Hart, of Kinross, is hosting a fundraising event in Joondalup on July 10 to help her husband Matt compete in the 2017 Dakar Rally in South America and support charity Soldier On.

“While competing, Matt will raise funds and further awareness for our serving and ex-serving men and women,” Mrs Hart said.

“Soldier On takes care of these heroes by not only concentrating on their physical and mental health, but also their families, communities and their future.”

The event will feature a high-intensity pilates class, live DJ, prizes and a health and wellness pack for all attendees.

Mrs Hart said her husband had previously competed in the Australasian Safari rally and making the Dakar Rally was a great inspiration to their two young children.

“It’s about them growing up knowing that whatever their dreams are, they can achieve them,” she said.
