Duncraig: WA Police charge teen over assault and stolen shoe

A TEENAGER was charged late last month after he allegedly stole one shoe from a man in Duncraig.

Police allege the 15-year-old punched an 18-year-old victim in the face after they had agreed to meet in a park on March 9.

Officers said the alleged offender had organised to buy a pair of shoes from the youth, but allegedly attempted to steal them instead.

He is accused of fleeing with one of the sneakers. Police charged the boy with robbery on March 24.

He is due in Joondalup Children’s Court on April 18.
