A POLICE officer has been stood down after he was allegedly responsible for a serious crash in Yanchep last month.
The 51 year-old male senior constable was allegedly driving a vehicle which collided with another around 12.45pm on Indian Ocean Drive on May 23.
The officer, who was off-duty at the time but works for State Traffic, was charged with two counts of endangering the life, health or safety of a person.
