UPDATE 8.54am: Chay has been found safe and well in the Clarkson area.
Earlier, police were seeking the public’s help to find a missing nine-year-old boy from Kinross.
Chay was last seen at a petrol station near the corner of Marmion Avenue and Ocean Keys Boulevard, Clarkson, about 10pm last night.
There has since been an unconfirmed sighting of Chay around Clarkson train station this morning.

READ NOWHe is described as 132cm tall, fair-skinned, with short dark blond hair. He was last seen wearing black short pyjamas with a red and white superman motif on the front (which may be turned inside out). He is also wearing black thongs.
Anyone that sees Chay is asked not to approach him as he may run, but instead to call police.
Police are conducting patrols of the area and are appealing for anyone that might have seen Chay to call police on 131 444.
