Riding to beat cancer: Great Cycle Challenge

Lucy JarvisJoondalup Times

Mr Laval said he planned to pedal at least 500km this month and raise $500 for the Children’s Medical Research Institute in its Great Cycle Challenge.

“It’s a great cause – I’ve done it twice before,” he said.

“It’s a nice way to get into riding, to get myself back on the bike in warmer months.”

There are about 7300 participants across Australia who have already raised about $1 million.
